AEG-180 Portable Veterinary Endoscope

What Is the Dawei AEG-180?

The Dawei AEG-180 is a portable flexible veterinary endoscope system designed for minimally invasive visualization and intervention in small animals and selected exotic-pet cases. It combines 2.5 mm or 2.8 mm scope options, a 1.2 mm working channel, a 120° field of view, a 3-50 mm depth of field, 275° up/down bending and a portable 13.3-inch 1920 × 1080 imaging unit.

Portable Flexibility for Small-Animal Procedures

portable flexible veterinary endoscope system

The AEG-180 gives veterinary teams a compact endoscopy platform for natural-orifice examination and compatible minimally invasive procedures. Its flexible insertion tube and highly controllable distal section are designed to navigate narrow, curved anatomy where a rigid endoscope may have limited reach.

Ultra-slim 2.5 mm and 2.8 mm insertion-tube options and working lengths from 620 mm to 680 mm help clinics select an appropriate scope for dogs, cats and selected exotic animals.

Ergonomic Control and Clear Digital Visualization

A 160,000-pixel digital imaging sensor provides real-time visualization for examination and procedural guidance. Controls on the ergonomic handle support image capture, video recording and freeze functions without requiring the operator to leave the working position.

The imaging unit also supports automatic white balance, menu hiding, picture-in-picture freeze, six illumination settings, file playback and digital zoom levels of 1.0×, 1.5×, 2.0×, 2.4× and 2.7×.

Ultra-Slim Scope with a 1.2 mm Working Channel

The 1.2 mm working channel is designed for compatible fine instruments used for sampling and interventional workflows. Depending on the clinical plan and selected accessories, these workflows may include biopsy sampling, guidewire or stent placement, stone retrieval and other minimally invasive techniques.

The distal section bends up to 275° upward and 275° downward. A 120° field of view and 3-50 mm depth of field support visualization across close and broader working distances.
